Carry-on luggage
Carry-on luggage taken onboard the aircraft must fit into the overhead bins.
The maximum size of a bag is 56x45x25 cm.
The number of bags you may carry with you is determined by each airline. Otherwise, the new rules formed in 2006 apply for carry-on luggage and also include limits on the amount of liquids that may be brought on.
- Provisions concerning liquids, creams, gels and aerosols in containers of maximum 100 ml (1 dl) may be carried in your carry-on luggage.
- The above bottles, cans, tubes, etc. should be placed in a transparent, one-litre plastic bag and fit easily inside the bag, which must be closed. The plastic bag must be resealable.
- It is permitted to carry one (1 st.), one-litre plastic bag per passenger holding a ticket / boarding pass.
Prepare yourself as much as you can and pack any bags at home so that the security process is as smooth as possible. If you are unable to obtain a one-litre resealable plastic bag, you can get one at the airport. In addition, you may include any medicine that is needed during the trip.
Take out liquid medicine and baby food so you can show them at the airport security control. They do not have to be in plastic bags. Remember: baby foods are not soft drinks or juice drinks.
